This is a replacement soft top for the MX-5 produced in Haartz Cabrio Vinyl to exacting standards using CNC cutting technology and comes with plastic window and zipper to replicate the OEM part.

To keep the price down and the quality high, this style of top does away with the zipper that is usually present on the plastic window soft tops and also does away with the horseshoe shaped flap that goes around the window.

We generally stock these in black however if you would like something custom made in a different colour or material please get in touch with us and will endeavour to help.
Allow approximately 6 hours for the installation. While a basic installation guide is included, we do recommend professional installation from one of our authorised installers. That said, many of our customers have installed their own parts and been happy with the result. It depends largely on your patience and level of practical experience.
Formerly specified for over a decade in OEM applications the Cabrio Vinyl is the material favourite choice for the NA and NB MX-5 car owners. With a 2-ply construction comprising of a textured PVC outer face and cotton backing it was used by brands such as Ford, Mazda, Toyota and VW from 1989 to 2005.
The PVC used for the plastic window is a 40-gauge UV stable PVC plastic, which offers superior resistance to Australian UV light and scratches caused by washing and soft top use.
