This is a replacement soft top rear section for the 3 Series, Baur E30 produced in German Classic Sonnenland® to exacting standards using CNC cutting technology and comes with plastic window, factory style retainers to replicate the OEM part.
We generally stock the original colours offered by BMW however if you would like something custom made in a different colour or material please get in touch with us and will endeavour to help.
Please note this is the rear section only, does not include Targa.
Allow approximately 6 hours for the installation. There is no installation guide included, we therefore recommend professional installation from one of our authorised installers. That said, many of our customers have installed their own parts and been happy with the result. It depends largely on your patience and level of practical experience.
Formerly specified over many decades in OEM applications the German Classic Sonnenland® is the material of choice for classic European cars with an acrylic / polyester facing, rubber inner-layer, and cotton backing. It was used by brands such as BMW, Jaguar, Mercedes and Porsche from 1955 to 1998.
The PVC used for the plastic window is a 40-gauge Regalite B.U.V. Ultralight plastic, which offers superior resistance to Australian UV light and scratches caused by washing and soft top use.
