This is a replacement soft top for the 124 ROADSTER produced in Haartz Stayfast Canvas to exacting standards using CNC cutting technology and comes with glass window & demister to replicate the OEM part.
We generally stock the original colours offered by Fiat however if you would like something custom made in a different colour or material please get in touch with us and will endeavour to help.
Please note this is the earlier version and comes without acoustic the headliner. Check between the soft top and headliner on your car before ordering.
Allow approximately 6 hours for the installation. There is no installation guide included, we therefore recommend professional installation from one of our authorised installers. That said, many of our customers have installed their own parts and been happy with the result. It depends largely on your patience and level of practical experience.
Stayfast, for many decades, was OEM material of choice for many makes and models. Unlike Mohair, sometimes referred to as its British competitor, Stayfast has outstanding UV resistance ideal for the Australian climate. It utilises an acrylic square weave facing, rubber inner-layer, and cotton backing, giving the material a good amount of stretch to really facilitate the perfect look and fit. Thickness is ~1.0mm. Stayfast canvas resists colour fading and shrinking far better than vinyls do. It also remains more pliable at lower temperature resisting creases and wrinkles common with vinyls making it an excellent upgrade in many applications.
The glass used for the window is fully DOT compliant toughened safety glass that meets Australian Standards for automotive use. It is designed for maximum strength but if impacted will break into small safe pieces.
